Why did you decide to become a teacher?
I have always loved caring for and working with children, from the time I started babysitting at the age of 11 to my time as a Girl Scout camp counselor through my college years. I, then, decided to carry this forward as an elementary teacher.

What do you like most about teaching?
I love when the light bulbs go on in a child's brain that says, " I got it; I understand!"  I also love making learning fun and active for my students and encouraging them to always do their best.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your free time?
I enjoy most all outdoor activities, especially biking, hiking, camping, skiing, and snowshoeing.  I also love to read, garden, cook, travel, and hang out with friends, family, and my dog, Rosie.
